Application process

Step by step

Even though we are keen to make processes more effective, efficient and, above all, digital, we can’t avoid a little bureaucracy. That’s why we’ve summarised the application process for you here:

Application process d.velop
Step 1: Submission of the documents

If you look here, you will find all the positions for which we are looking for support. If you have already found a position for which you would like to apply, you can access the application form by clicking on the ‘Apply now’ button. Here you can submit your documents within a few minutes.
Is there not yet a position that makes your heart beat faster? Then simply tell us in your unsolicited application how you can support us!

Step 2: Confirmation of receipt

After you have successfully completed all the fields in the application form, attached the documents you would like to send us and given your consent to the privacy policy, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by email. Thank you for your good preparatory work – we’ll take it from here!

Step 3: Reviewing the documents

We will of course look at your application with great interest, appreciation and the necessary time – which is why we need a short moment to do so, as we from People & Culture coordinate with the recruiting leads of the respective team.
In any case, you will receive feedback from us within 14 days on how to proceed! If you have any questions or, exceptionally, have not heard from us, you are of course welcome to call +492542-93076767 or send an email to jobs@d-velop.com.

Step 4: Telephone call

Sometimes it makes sense to clarify a few questions in advance in a short phone call. This allows us both to get a first impression of each other.

Step 5: Get-to-know-you meeting

As the name suggests: we want to get to know each other! We are the recruiting manager of the respective team and a person from People & Culture who would like to get to know you either in person or via video conference. We’ll see how well we fit together: Who are you? What motivates you? What aspects of the job make your heart beat faster? We would like to find out all of this.
It’s always important to us that we don’t have a tense interview situation; instead, we want to get to know each other as equals in a relaxed, open conversation. Of course, we also look forward to your questions – you certainly have questions about the new challenge at d.velop, as this is also an important decision for you.
Of course, we will also tell you what makes d.velop and the position in particular special, how we deal with each other and what we value. We will contact you by telephone with an appointment proposal for the get-to-know-you meeting and will always confirm this by email afterwards.

Step 6: Feedback

After the get-to-know-you meeting, you and we will have time to think about how the conversation went. We will of course consult with you as soon as possible – you will receive feedback within 14 days on how things are going.

Step 7: Second interview / Get-to-know-each-other-day

In the case of permanent positions and apprenticeships, we will be happy to conduct a second interview with you. Here we can clarify in a joint dialogue whether you still have open points or more in-depth questions.
Perhaps you would also like to get to know your future team and find out what day-to-day work at our company is like? Or would you like to show how you present to customers?
We will decide together in advance which of these three options suits you best for a permanent position. For the second round, we will contact you by telephone with a proposed date and then confirm this again by email.

Step 8: Signing the employment contract

Yay, welcome to the team! We have decided in favour of each other – so you are a d.veloper! As our internal processes are fixed, your first day with us won’t be long in coming. As befits an IT company, you will be sent your employment contract for digital signing. You will of course receive further information about your first day from us in good time and in detail!
